History of Liberty Rail Services
Blake Maynard spent several years managing car fleets. During that time, he discovered that many times when a car was held up in the shop it was mostly due to valve related issues. There just wasn’t many businesses that could help with the reconditioning side of the valve world. Liberty Rail Services was created to minimize the shop days for cars and in some mobile repair cases, out of a shop altogether. Liberty Rail Services keeps a large inventory of parts, seal kits and valves so that customers don’t have to wait. Our team understands what it means to have a car stuck in a repair shop and not moving product.

PRESIDENT
Blake has been in the rail industry since 1995. He has years of experience in repair shops, field inspections and fleet management. Valves are his specialty. When it comes to valves, there isn’t much that Blake doesn’t know.

Jessica Maynard
OFFICE MANAGER
Jessica was instrumental in Liberty becoming a reality. Coming from the medical field, she brought extensive knowledge of protocols, procedures and what it means to adhere to regulations.

Justin Scogins
QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Justin joined Liberty in 2015 with an eagerness to learn valves and learn the rail industry. Since then, he has worked his way to Quality Assurance Manager. Along that path, he has assisted in improving the quality and efficiency of Liberty.

Chad Clopp
DIRECTOR OF SALES
Chad was the first employee at Liberty Rail Services, and has over 12 years of experience in the rail industry. He has conducted valve reconditioning, helped build multiple different valve facilities throughout North America and spent some time branching outside the valve world in order to become more well-rounded in this industry. He says his greatest accomplishment of all was finding his way back to LRS, working in a position focused on helping it grow.
